It was really true on what stephen talked abouth his presentation. Christian gnosticism.
We can't really boxed God up, thinking that we know everything about Him, or that we know what He is going to do next! it is not really possible. God is full of mysteries, which is why He left us the bible and the holy spirit so that we can to know him better and better. The bible is full of revelation, you can read a verse one day and it means something, but then you read it again and God will use it to show you something else. I know that God is unchangeable but not because of this we must think that we have Him all figured out.
What I am trying to say is that loving God, worshiping Him, and giving thanks to Him is a life style, it is not just oh I know him and I am going to stop worshiping, studying the bible and such.
IT IS A LIFESTYLE, EVERY DAY.

bodily resurrection!
I just want to share some thoughts on the bodily resurrection.
I believe that when we died, we will all be resurrected on the day of judgment. It does not matter if you were buried, cremated, or cut into pieces, your whole body will somehow get together, cuz you know that God is almighty, and then we will all be judge. Some for condemnation and other for eternal life.
I believe we will all remember our lives on earth, other people and will keep our personality all together.
It will be as Paul explained to the Greeks with the word nefesh.
Its just that those who will live an eternal life will be given a glorified body, one were no disease will be in it, and no imperfections.
Thank you God for who you are.

judge or not judge?
There were some question that rose up in class the other day about having the right to judge or not?.
I believe that as Dr Borders said we are allowed to judge people actions, or decisions that have being taken or will be taken, but not really judge a person's heart, or how he said it, not judge whether someone is going to heaven or hell for we are not the ultimate Judge.
God given us the capacity to judge someone's action or decisions or in certain cases be the judge but always remembering who is the Ultimate judge. When we become sons of God we are made His holy priesthood, and so he has given us the power through Jesus Christ to reign over the earth. We are here to establish God's kingdom, in the name of Jesus, on this earth. So I believe we are allowed to judge according to God's standards and not ours.

circumcision!
We talked for a little bit about circumcision in Galatians 6:11-17. Paul is talking to the people living in Galatia.
He emphasized that the circumcision on the physical body is not the real circumcision if the person keeps on doing the same things that are not honorable, making a the circumcision as a sticker identifying those who do not want to be persecuted for being followers of Christ. So for Paul being circumcised or not circumcised does not matter, but what matters is to really be a part of the new creation.
As a believer you become a new creation for God. I believe that the real circumcision does not have to do with the pysical but the inside. The circumcision of the heart, which I believe that if we ask God to circumcise our hearts this will remove so much stuff that obstructs our life in Christ and so the circumcision will get us nearer to HIM.

Faith!
What is faith? we have learned that faith is not just something you can carry or posses but something that is in action. It is continuously moving. We can see that Paul faiths all throughout his conversion, doing what God had told him to do, never giving up in the midst all his circumstances that surrounded him. So faith without action is dead. But I also found out that faith is that everyone of us has a measure of faith like a mustard seed that if it's harvested in good grounds it will grow to become a great faith like a tree with all the branches.
How do we grow out that measure of faith that has been given to us?
We can do this by continuously listen to the word of God Romans 10:7.
Let's listen to the word of God continuously, study the word of God, meditate in it, and live it every day, so that we can become giants of faith.!!

resurrection!
We talked for a few classes on one of Paul's theme the resurrection. I wanted to learn more about and so I found this. Paul talks about 3 types of resurrection.
1. Jesus resurrection- he focuses on His resurrection to emphasize salvation. Where we need to accept and confess Jesus Christ as our savior and lord. Romans 10:9.
2. Spiritual resurrection- Before we accepted Him we were spiritually dead, but then it came to life by His power. So if we died being a believer we will be transformed in His second coming, at the sound of the trumpet.
1 Corin. 15:51-52.
3. Final resurrection of those who died without Christ- This one is mostly referred to day of judgment, which all people will present before either to the white throne (for those that are sinners)Apo. 20:11-12 and the judgment throne (for the saints)Rom. 14: 10, 2 Cor. 5: 10.
These is very interesting, specially number 3, I did not know there are two types of throne, it somewhat makes me happy that if I am with Christ I don't have to present before the white throne, the one for condemnation but even though I am before the other one we will receive what we did on the body, the good or bad.

ideas
I think it is really cool that we are actually doing, taking action on what we believe.
The T-shirt iedea I believe would rise up questions among huntingdon students, but
if we really want a change to occur in our society on how we truly have live as christians.
We should start like we said in class dying to what is comfortable, our comfort zone that doesn't let us
become radicals or crazy for Jesus.
I think actions like towards humbling ourselves more should be our goal, we need to stop being
selfish and start thinking on others.
Are we not told to love one another?
Let's be the difference.

Paul
Ok, whenever I have a question regarding of how a Christian should behave in certain situations I like to go to the Bible and read one of Paul's Letters. Although it is difficult to really do what God is telling us to do, I believe that if we take it one step at a time we would all become more like Him, as He wants us to. We need to be perseverant and consistent as Paul was in early days, even if your circumstances are telling you the opposite, this is the only way that we can go from glory to glory, from victory to victory. So lets keep on going His way.
